A Korean lift focuses on three things:
- Lifting from the root. The curl starts right at the base of the lash line rather than partway up the lash. That is what opens the eye and creates the illusion of thickness at the lash line, where it matters most.
- Working in smaller sections. Lashes are separated and placed with more precision instead of pressed onto the shield in a single sheet. It takes longer, and it is the difference between an even, brushed-out finish and lashes that stick together in clumps.
- A softer, more natural curve. The goal is a lifted C-shape that mimics a beautifully curled natural lash, not a right angle.

Plan for about an hour and fifteen minutes, and plan to be comfortable.
You will be lying down with your eyes closed for the whole service. Your lower lashes are protected with a gentle under-eye pad, the silicone shield goes on, and your lashes are lifted and placed section by section. The solutions process for a set amount of time each, the tint goes on, and then everything is cleaned off and your lashes are brushed out.
There is no needle, no heat, and it should never sting. If anything feels uncomfortable, say so — a good lash artist would much rather adjust than have you white-knuckle it.
The service runs $125 with a $30 deposit to hold your spot.
One important note: come with your lash line completely clean. No mascara, no residual lash glue, no oil-based skincare or makeup around the eye. Product buildup on the lash keeps the solution from bonding evenly, which means an uneven lift. If cleanup is needed, a $25 upcharge applies to cover the extra time and product.
How Long Does It Last?
Six to eight weeks, and here is the reason that number is what it is.
The lift is permanent for the lashes it was applied to. It does not gradually relax or drop out. What actually happens is that your lashes, like every hair on your body, are on a natural growth cycle — each one grows, rests, and eventually sheds so a new one can take its place. Over six to eight weeks, enough of your lifted lashes cycle out and are replaced by new, uncurled ones that the overall effect softens.

You may be happier with extensions if:

Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 to 48 hours — no steam rooms, no hot showers directly on the face, no swimming, no crying at a good movie if you can help it. The curl is still setting. After that, brush them gently with a spoolie each morning, stay away from oil-based cleansers and makeup removers around the eye, and resist the urge to rub or pick.
